We left Kuching by the earliest flight to Kuala Lumpur , then by the 2.30 pm flight to Haneda Tokyo Airport reaching at 10.30 and after the immigration clearance we miss the second last bus leaving for Haijima station which cost 1600 yen ( RM 64). As the airport Immigration officers took quite a while to take our pointer fingerprints for both hands, as well as our photos by those super serious looking Japanese officers, we had no choice but to take the bus after midnight which is also the last bus to Haijima Station and it costs us 3200 yen ( RM 128!!)
It took us around 2 hours to reach Haijima Station at 2 am. I felt so bad that we need my sister Wendy to pick us up at 2 am, hence disturbing her sleep.
One thing I found out is that once in Japan nobody can contact you anymore via your mobile phone , be it postpaid or prepaid!!! unless you rent a mobile from Japan ...good in a way that you no need to worry that you will be receiving call or sms from your friends back home and paying $$ as a recipient.
Real tired after a long day trip. Continue tomorrow
FYI, if you arrive by Air Asia to Haneda Airport you can take the Keihin Kyuko bus to some of the strategic places. Place to buy bus tickets and all the other very clear instructions can be found on this website.
