Unlucky year

This year is indeed a super unlucky year for my career.

First, one stupid fool by the name of Solomon wrote via email  to Kementerian Pendidikan saying that i always getuk- mengetuk another colleague who always go out for official duty outside. Why on earth should I care who went out for duty???. That Kementerian also very funny , the person who wrote the poison letter was not investigated but the innocent me was called up to Pejabat Daerah Pendidikan to interrogate while that foolish Solomon got away scotch -free. Never mind I always know and feel that God is watching us from a distance. In a way Kementerian Pendidikan is really encouraging people to write poison and flying letters from the way they dealt things.I know who you are, Solomon, there is something call karma, remember that.

Next another colleague keyed in my e cerap into the online system by giving me the lowest mark in the whole school!!!!! That causes an alarm at Pejabat Pendidikan Dareah and they ask somebody to come and observe me today in my teaching. Conclusion from today observation by the officer from PPD, I   deserve  cemerlang mark instead of the lowest in the whole school.@#$%%^&$@. If you were me, are you angry or not??? What the heck, things like this can drive teachers up the wall and enter mental hospital man!!! Luckily my faith in God is strong and I can deal with situation like this steadily. Thank you Lord.

Real unlucky year!!

Lessons learned in life

In life you learned so many lessons, some good, some bad . That is what I have learned in the last few months and even yesterday. How people take you for granted, how selfish people are, how fussy people are, how wannabe and high class people are, how unhelpful people are, how ungrateful people are, who are friends and who are NOT!!

This show how angry I am with this telephone conversation:


Me: I am really running out of ways to get 7 rooms for you all after trying so hard , emailing here, emailing there, find travel agents here, find travel agents there, 7 rooms are not easy to get because of Hari Raya...so what about splitting into 2 groups, I look for 4 rooms and you look for 3 rooms( because for online hotel booking , the name on the credit card must be one of the occupants in the list.)

K.N.Sai: What ...u suddenly push 3 rooms to me ???

( I was thinking I book 4 rooms , you book 3 rooms ...which is easier ..isn't number 4 more than number 3!. Moreover for the last 2 months , I have single handed looking for 7 rooms for you all...you are real selfish lar!!!!!#$@%@&^%# )

K. N. Sai : If I know that day if it is like this, I will take that 1 room available for myself.

( Ooi K. N. Sai aah.... All this while while surfing the internet I have seen 1 room, 2 rooms , 3 rooms , 4 rooms and even 5 rooms But I never think like you. If I thought like you , I will have just choose the best hotel with the best room for myself and forget about you all...who cares where you all going to sleep...but I never do that and yet you dare to say !!!)

Then tonight I sms K. N. Sai to tell him that the hotel rooms are confirmed .

Then his sms makes me more angry.

His sms: Thank you Lord for listening to my prayer.

My sms reply: What prayer?? I ring to Bali to confirm all the 7 rooms myself.

His sms: Thank you very much, I will bring something for you from Seremban

My sms reply: NO thanks, you just need to be more helpful and help ppl out next time.

This shows how hyprocrite ppl can be !! I am really pissed by ppl like this ( Har...first time I used that word "pissed")

There are also people who prefer to walk 4 hours to another place to look at the place but will not walk across the road to do people a favour ( another piss!!)

There are fussy people around which makes other people around hard to do decisions!!

But as it is lessons learned, not a single or even half sen earned even for all these efforts, I learned that:

1. Never do so much favour for people who never appreciate and can only talk BIG!

2. Next time go holiday on your own! Then you can check into any hotel, expensive or medium , with stars or no stars...it is all up to myself...never do things for ungrateful people!!

3. I learned that to find out more about hotels overseas, no need to ask wannabe people to check it out for you. You just need to use webshots site , type in the hotel name and you can see all the pictures of the hotels, even the bathrooms nad the rooms and the compounds.Or just use You tube , type in the hotel name and some very kind hearted people have taken all the trouble to take video and upload the whole hotel scene and show you around the whole hotel , with commentary somemore.

3. I learned about people character, how unkind, unhelpful, ungrateful some people are!

4. I learned about online hotel booking, how and which are the reliable ones, the process of doing it.

5. I meeet friends as I go to travel agency, sharing their travel experiences with me.

6. I spent hours and hours surfing the net, reading travel forums, finding info on hotels, villas, apartments ...more info gain

....ok I have finished my rantings because I am really very very pissed off.

08.08.08 is supposed to be a good day, but for me it is the day when a thief/ thieves come to my house while we were sleeping in the early morning and steal away my laptop , my son laptop and the LCD projector.

I don't understand why he wants my cheap laptop cos it is the lousiest of the lousiest laptop which is very basic for my ordinary use only as it is only Hyundai Mlife ( brand that you all never heard of , I suppose!) . Moreover the webcam is not working at all. it is only good for going online and doing basic stuff like typing and moreover it contains all my teaching material inside. what the hell is he going to use for my laptop for??

Please lah ,return it to me for goodness sake cos there is no resale value at all!!!

Frust , frust , frust.........all my teaching data and stuff gone. I really want to curse and swear that thief to kingdom come for stealing that laptop which is so important for my teaching and which is of no use at all to him!!

PTK...oh PTK

Even though it is school holiday for mid semester break but every night me and my friends' houses lights are on till early morning...why le?? Cos we are studying hard...damn hard for our PTK examination which will be held on 13th March ( unlucky date so chances of getting a IV is only 0.000000000000001%)

So you do believe that we have been studying hard and real hard...?

In case you are wondering what those III and IV are :

IV means 80% and above.Out of 40 objective questions which means we cannot get more than 8 questions wrong!!


III means 60% to 79%


II means 50% to 59%


I means 49% and below...meaning die...si...mati....死


The worst thing is........ the 40 objective questions has nothing to do with teaching, no matter how good my teaching or even IF I am the best teacher in this universe, also no use ...if you get more than 8 questions wrong in that UMUM paper!!

Never mind looking at the bright side of things... 6 more years to retirement means 12 more chances to sit for that UMUM paper because starting this year we are allowed to sit 2X a year so if you ask me DEAL or NO DEAL I will say NO DEAL till 2013

To tell you the truth, I am not going to study at all because there is no way to study, even study still cannot get IV unless the computer screw up my entry and put my particulars wrongly....then the chances of me getting IV will be high...very high...

Sony cyber-shot DSC-S600

How will you feel when during New Year Eve your digicam just refuse to work? Refuse to work here means I just cannot press the button down in order to take photos!! The worst thing the digicam was only 4 months old at that time. Because it is under warranty, i got it repaired and fixed.

Then 2 months later, the battery compartment is jammed, so jammed that you cannot push open compartment to put in newly charged battery. What makes me more TULAN is the service man at the SONY service centre. He angrily accused me of putting in the battery the wrong way and that's why I got it jammed but he later opened it up in front of me and found that the battery are correctly put!!

Then now when I wanted to go travelling and intending to take lots of pictures( I even bought myself a 4GB thumb drive to store my pictures while travelling), that SONY CYBER-SHIT fails again. This time the shutter just don't want to close!!!I brought it back to the SONY centre ( I hate to see that man again!!) and he says to open it up I will be charged RM 50 since the extended warranty date is just over last month!! So all in all may cost me RM 150+ to get it repaired!!! I tell myself this is real sony-shit, better throw away and get other better brand with better customer service!!!

So never ever buy Sony camera!!! But now how to go travelling with such an unreliable camera???

Paypal Withdrawal and Public Bank Visa Debit Card

Anybody else got the phone call from Public Bank debit card or PR advantage as they call it besides me?

I got this phone call, at school this afternoon, who claimed to be a bank personnel doing the account on debit card... I was skeptical and asked him how on earth I know that he is the real bank personnel cos I cannot see his CLIP number at the school office phone!! He said I can always ring up Public Bank HQ to verify.

Okay, then he asked me - Am I expecting some transaction from Paypal? Actually I already checked the completed transaction online already but I asked him why he asked ? He said that many people are getting $$ from Paypal through their debit cards and they are in doubt about that transfer of funds. Then he asks me what I have done to get that $$ from Paypal...I was like har!!! OMG...Why does he have to know??

He asked whether I have sold something or do some service kah to get that money from Paypal? I told him I do paid posts but he did't understand what on earth is paid posts?? I say blogging..he also doesn't understand!!!Then he told me he is also a paypal account holder and paypal does not allow Malaysians to draw $$ but do allow Singaporeans to draw $$. Then very nicely and patiently I told him starting from October 2007, Paypal do allow Malaysians to draw out their $$$ liao... so I ask him TO GO TO PAYPAL WEBSITE TO CHECK FOR HIMSELF.....

I am quite angry for - Why on earth he needs to know how I got that $$$? After all, the transaction is between PayPal, Visa and Public Bank...is he keepoh or what? Why as a customer I should tell him how on earth I got that $$$?

Then he also said he noticed that people are drawing nearly the same amount from Paypal which is around USD500 and USD495... I told him of cos lar cos it is the maximum amount that we can draw a day from Paypal and USD 495 is becos of the USD5 charge from Paypal...Again I asked him to CHECK IT OUT FROM PAYPAL WEBSITE!!!I am quite TULAN at that point liao...

I am still doubtful about everything cos why as a debit/credit card personnel he is so so very ignorant? Why he didn't check it out with Visa or PayPal but instead with customers like us??

So if you are the next to receive that call from Public Bank...be prepared ...be very prepared.

ScreamNut....

Can somebody out please tell me why streamyx aka ScreamNut is so very slow this morning. The worst thing is of all the mornings, this morning it happens that I have so many opportunities posts to write ...4 all together which means USD 24 , and that is equal to RM 84.... haiyor ..frustrated ..very frustrated. It takes ages to load and at times after writing my post, it just disappear and say....This page cannot be displayed....OMG!!

Where is my credit card?

I was on the way to the petrol station to fill up my car , checked my wallet and found my credit card not there....first thing I checked is online statement to see got any unauthorised swiping ... then I fast fast check my handbag hoping that it was there after I paid my credit account last Thursday. Unluckily not there!!!Checked everywhere and even going back to the staffroom to check but still cannot be found so want or not need to ring customer service to block my account . I was told that it cannot be blocked temporarily meaning that even I found the card it will be of no more use. On top of that I will be charged RM 25 for the new card with new number...

Nothing to look forward to at all in this budget... not like Budget 2007 as shown in my old post Budget 2007 a year ago!!
What makes us citizens on the street angry is this :

Effective September 2007, the Government will increase the COLA for students in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada by up to 97%, almost double the current rate.

Imagine civil servants in Sarawak do not get a single sen for COLA but these scholarship students are given COLA almost double to the current rate!!! I have a few colleagues whose privileged sons and daughters are under JPA scholarships studying in UK and US , and they now have a fat account lying in the bank after touring here and there to Europe , Paris with their left over government paid housing and living allowance ( which is also our taxpayer $$$) and now the government is going to give them some more $$$ - the tax payer $$$ for them to enjoy in UK, US and Canada !!!

More over how many of them do come back to serve Malaysia after exhausting our taxpayer $$$?

This is the longest swear word I have ever made.... PTK June 2007 results is out already and just like the past 5 years I still get III for my umum paper where we are tested at least 5 questions on pra sekolah ( translated preschool) matters whereby I have been a secondary school teacher for the past 26 years ... I really see no purpose to test us like that unless they are encouraging us to start preschool either as moonlighting or as our sideline job

With a result like this it means no salary anjakan for me, again no matter what.... Even though I have got a IV already for my Kertas Khusus 3 years back , to get anjakan ( or salary increment) I need IV for both papers..

How on earth to get anjakan since there is a quota of 5 % ...even exams are governed by quota..Oh My Holy Goat!!!

The rational behind this test is we make us all more proficient in the civil service...and this is a real case of cakap tak serup bikin cos they themselves are not proficient enough as proved by the release of our results...I surfed the net to find the website for the announcement of the results but all i got is this
so want or not , we all have no choice but to sms to 39003 to get our results which costs RM0.30 per sms ...is this called proficiency???

PROBLEMS IN COMMENTING ON BLOGGER

These few days I have problems trying to reply comments on my own blogs and also on others' blogs at Blogger aka blogspot...... Is there anything wrong with my computer or is it the fault of Blogger. Every time i click on comments then the button asking me whether I want to show the non secure information... come out: i click YES also cannot , I click NO also cannot.... and today new problem ......I click on add comment , want to comment but the toolbar at the buttom keeps blinking and bilnking and I just cannot type in my comments in the comment column....Hello Blogger out there..... Do you all have problems like me???

RM 2 for a cuppa??

A glass of iced Milo now costs RM2 according to the news on Borneo Post so are we going to boycott those kopi tiam for charging us so much??
The best solution is drink at home ...but soon the price of Milo in the tin will also increase . Reason : salary increase for civil servants. Salary increase 25% , milo increase from RM 1.50 to RM 2, that is an increase of 33.3333%, how le??? lidat can survive kah?

Perspirations Vs Inspirations

I have been hunting for a bedroom set for my son who has been sleeping with mattress on the floor for a long time . Lousy Court Mammoth !!!. When I last went there to check the BECKY bedroom set last 26th May the sale person said that there was no stock available .Yesterday I rang the sale person again and asked whether the BECKY bedroom set was already here and she said need to check with the warehouse and she would return my call .. waited for the whole day yesterday for her call but it never came!!! So i went there personally just now to check .
On reaching there, the sale person said that the set is here in the warehouse but they cannot display the set because the demand is so high... since so many people are interested to buy that set. Fair enough. Then she asked me to pay first, then they will send the set to my house. Of course, I, as a consumer like to know when the bedroom set will be delivered if I pay her now. After checking with the office personnel she said it will be delivered in 2 weeks' time and the worst of the worst thing is from tomorrow onwards - 4th June all deliveries ...even if your house is just next door to Courts Mammoth..... will be charged RM 20 extra for the cost of delivery...Out of curiosity I asked her why suddenly need to charge RM 20 extra... she say because gaji naik ( pay rise) so need to pay extras !!!!! What the heck??? Is this what they so called INSPIRATION???

How to do business like that ?? You are scaring customers off lar!!!. Lousy service we can still bear with you but extra charges for delivering just because of pay rise ... sorry lar ... no more inspirations from us consumers ..

PTK

I am going to sit for my 5th PTK test this coming Thursday
.... have been getting 3 for the last four tests . To get a promotion I need a 4 which means not less than 8 wrong in the objective paper of 40 questions where every questions seems to have two answers to choose from .

Hence this time around need to buy a dice to cast for the answers and the important thing is to have the dice blessed before the examination. Is this the way our competency towards our profession are tested as a teacher!!!. No matter how good a teacher in class I am if I fail or did not get a 4 for my PTK , my hard work will never be recognised and there will be no promotion for me at all...sobs... sobs.

"JOHOR BARU: Barely a week after civil servants were granted a hefty pay rise, Cuepacs has wasted no time in coming up with another list of “demands.”

Among the pressing issues are the abolishment of the Efficiency Level Assessment (PTK) and the increase of the civil servants’ retirement age from 56 to 60 years.

Omar said the PTK was a failure and Cuepacs did not want any more assessment based on tests.
He said the only ones in favour of the PTK was a small group of higher ranking officials “who do not have to take the test.”

He said that studies done by Cuepacs showed that the objectives of the test were not met and that it was not standardised and not relevant to some workers.

“Some of the workers have only Year Six or Form Two qualifications. How are they to pass the test?

“We don’t want tests. We are the implementers, not the thinkers,” he said, adding that the PTK should be replaced with evaluated courses to promote lifelong learning.

He also dismissed the suggestion of civil servants sitting for exams after attending courses, claiming that would cost the Government too much money.
