Europe and Mediterranean Holiday (3rd October 2013 to 4 th November 2013)

One month dream holiday to Mediterranean ....... this is my second planned trip, last year trip to Canary Islands was cancelled due to husband's health condition.

I was very excited about this trip but on the other hand I have phobia too after cancelling my whole paid trip last year which includes a cruise on Norwegian Jade to the beautiful Canary Islands,

Luckily all went well and we left Kuching and arrived safe and sound in Manchester by Qatar Airlines, Having flew with Emirates, I can do a comparison between these 2 airlines and I can conclude that Emirates is much better than Qatar even though Qatar is always advertised as 5 stars Airlines. Moreover, toilets are not enough at Doha new airport so everybody needs to queue up for toilets, For that, I am proud of KLIA Airport which has so so many toilets and they are all very clean too.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon and this round we did not suffer from much jet lag so our son brought us right to Pendle Hills on Saturday. Pendle Hill is located in the east of Lancashire, England, near the towns of Burnley where my son stays and works. Its summit is 557 metres (1,827 ft) above mean sea level. 

Even though the hill was only 1827 feet high but it was quite a challenging climb for me, half way up my heart was beating very fast, maybe because of the cold temperature, luckily son gave me his thermal coat so I made it to the top safely to enjoy the nice view from top of the hill.
