What makes us citizens on the street angry is this :
Effective September 2007, the Government will increase the COLA for students in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada by up to 97%, almost double the current rate.
Imagine civil servants in Sarawak do not get a single sen for COLA but these scholarship students are given COLA almost double to the current rate!!! I have a few colleagues whose privileged sons and daughters are under JPA scholarships studying in UK and US , and they now have a fat account lying in the bank after touring here and there to Europe , Paris with their left over government paid housing and living allowance ( which is also our taxpayer $$$) and now the government is going to give them some more $$$ - the tax payer $$$ for them to enjoy in UK, US and Canada !!!
More over how many of them do come back to serve Malaysia after exhausting our taxpayer $$$?
How to be terbilang ? gemilang ? with all these type of "lang"???

The budget is but a way to drench the economic system and tax the people more by indirect duties and taxes.
The govt had announced almost a Trillion worth of project to launch and where are they going to get the money? U know what?
